STAY CONNECTED!!

Hello CJCLife Family,

We are very much looking forward to reopening for our Kidz on May 2nd. Their safety is our priority and training them up in the ways of the Lord is our highest honor.

Journey with us by getting involved and praying for this ministry- our team and children, as we work together in teaching them the word of God and the biblical truths that will anchor them for a lifetime.

We will continue with our live videos every Sunday at 11am until our relaunch on May 2, 2021.

If you have any questions or are interested in volunteering, please contact me at [email protected].

Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it.

Happy October! While your kid is busy planning their best costumes for Halloween, we hope you take a second or two this month to trick-or-TREAT yourself (maybe with an extra nap or your favorite snack?), because you are an incredible parent.

ROAD TRIP: A 4-WEEK SERIES FROM THE OLD TESTAMENT ON THE TEN COMMANDMENTS

SERIES OVERVIEW:

Have you ever been on a road trip? When we think of road trips, we might think of gas station snacks, singing along to our favorite songs, and taking in the sights — but when the Israelites went on a “road trip” of their own through the wilderness, it was a little less glamorous. Okay, it was a lot less glamorous. In this series, we’ll introduce kids to some of God’s “rules of the road,” from Moses and the ten commandments all the way to what Jesus called the Greatest Commandment — to love God and to love our neighbors as ourselves. Together, we’ll discover that we can love God and others by putting God first, worshiping God, loving our families, and loving everyone.

Kids love stories. They love telling them and, most of all, they love hearing them. That’s because stories are one of the primary ways a kid learns! So if there’s something important you want your kid to understand, don’t think like an adult — think like a kid, and wrap that truth in a story.

Your kid’s use of social media technology impacts their developing identity in a big way. But have you ever talked about that? This month, try out some of the tips in THIS VIDEO. It’s a great idea to develop some healthy values and practices together as a family that empower kids to make better choices when it comes to the time they spend online.

We consider our volunteer leaders to be the best link we have between our church and your family. So here’s a question: Have you had a conversation with your kid’s leader yet this year?

With gratitude,
Emelen
